'By-A-Bee' ( Carl Starker} Not Registered. CAL-SIB. Standards violet; Falls purple. Natural hybrid collected in Oregon. (Probably Iris tenax--sibirica hybrid). Listed in the Wild Garden 1976/77. 'By-A-Bee' was mistaken at one time for 'Margot Holmes' and is still in some gardens by that name. Name given by B. LeRoy Davidson. I. tenax Douglas ex Lindley and Siberian Iris?].
