'Benibutae' (Hiroshi Shimizu by Carol Warner, R. 2015) SPEC-X (pseudata), 32" (81 cm), Early to midseason bloom. Standards cream, light rose veins, very small; style arms cream tipped and brushed deep rose, thin white rim; Standards rose on cream, deeper rose edge, oval signal bright yellow, speckled and veined deep wine-rose; variegated foliage with white vertical stripes. 'Gubijin' X mixed JI pollen, plant from Hiroshi Shimizu. 2015 Draycott.

Translation: Double eyelid of rouge.

From Draycott Gardens catalog, 2016: BENIBUTAE (Hiroshi Shimizu, 2015) 32" E-M. Medium purple flowers over variegated foliage. Small standards. Many stalks have 10 flowers, 4 in the terminal and 3 in each of the two branches. "Double Eyelid of Rouge" $35.00
