'Akira Horinaka' ( Tony Huber, R. 1999). Seedlong 95-184. SPEC-X (reensata), height 38" (96 cm), Midseason late bloom. Standards violet to red purple (RHS 88B to 74C), rather short, rounded; style arms violet (88C/D), edged white to lilac (92C); Falls violet (88B) to mallow purple (73A/B), bright yellow signal. Versata 92-143: ( I. versicolor MAG-PK-85 x magenta I. ensata seedling) X 'Raspberry Rimmed'. Iris City 2004.
