2004, Smith

'Youngling' (Marky Smith, R. 2004). Seedling #98-01Z. MDB, 7.5" (19 cm). Late midseason bloom. Standards cream white ground (RHS 155A), rimmed in very dark violet with heavy midrib, dots and heavy veining in dark violet; style arms dark violet; falls greenish cream, edged with fine dark violet dots on shoulders and sides, upper fall prominently veined violet (90A), small open area below beard, slight veining at distal end; beards cream tipped yellow, end blue, yellow orange in throat; slight ruffling; slight spicy fragrance. Sibling to 'Stripling'. Aitken 2005.
