■(MDB) 'Stripe Three'

2007, Black

'Stripe Three' (Paul Black, R. 2007). Seedling #H225A. MDB, 7" (18 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards medium butter yellow ground, wide dark wine-purple plicata band and heavy marks over center, near black purple rib; style arms dark wine-purple; falls medium yellow ground, hafts heavily plicata marked and veined wine purple, narrow wine purple plicata band and dotting inside band, heavy black purple lines parallel to beards and 1/3 way down; beards white tipped caramel; ruffled, extremely variable falls markings; pronounced sweet fragrance. 'Chubby Cheeks' X 'Frugal'. Mid-America 2007.
