■(MDB) 'Sparky'

1984, Aitken

'Sparky' (J. Terry Aitken, R. 1983). Seedling #80-15A. MDB, 6" (15 cm). Midseason to late bloom. Violet with small deep purple spot around beard; frosty light violet beard. ('Singing Angel' x 'Cotton Blossom') X unknown, probably sibling cross. Aitken's Salmon Creek Garden 1984. Honorable Mention 1986; Award of Merit 1989; Caparne-Welch Medal 1993.
