1948, Marx

'Little Skipper' (Walter Marx, R. 1948). DB, 5" (13 cm). Early to midseason bloom. Color Code-S3M. Blue-gray bitone with reticulations; yellow beards. 'Azurea' X 'Puck'. Marx 1948.

From Walter Marx Gardens catalog 1957: LITTLE SKIPPER (Marx '48) Each 75; 3 for 2.00. Unusual bi-color of near sky gray and "Westpoint blue" falls. Fondly named for its extreme dwarfness. 4-5 inches.
