'Gobo' (
John J. Taylor, R. 2005). Seedling# FF-4. MDB, height 4-5" (10-13 cm). Late midseason bloom. Standards purple (between RHS 77A and 78A), midrib darker, haft veined ochre brown, somewhat cupped; style arms ivory, violet purple midrib and crest; falls same as standards, with all but 2-4 mm ruffled edge much darker (near 79A) and velvety; haft with clear white chevrons; beards white at base, tipped bluish (92B) at end, brown in middle, gold in throat; slight sweet fragrance. (
