'Gem' (Ben Hager, R. 1983). Seedling #MD3124. MDB, height 5" (13 cm). Early bloom. Standards palest orchid; falls pastel chartreuse gilt; self beards. Seedling #SD2663Br&Bl: ('Kitten Kapers' x 'Gingerbread Man') X seedling #SD2669Br&Bl: (('Sunny Heart' x (('Evening Storm' x Welch seedling #H-501) x ('Sulina' x 'Melodrama'))) x ('Blueberry Muffins' x 'Peanuts')). Melrose Gardens 1984. Honorable Mention 1989.
