'Emerald Frost' (Alta Brown, R. 1974). Seedling #D 918-11. MDB, height 4" (10 cm). Midseason bloom. White self; well-defined green ray pattern on falls; creamy white beards. ( 'Snow Elf' X 'Green Lilt') X 'Baby Jewel'. Riverdale Iris Gardens 1974. Honorable Mention 1975.

From AIS Bulletin #213 April 1974 Introducing EMERALD FROST, MDB, 4". $5.00. Sdlg. D 918-11: ((Snow Elf x Green Lilt) X Baby Jewel)). Clean white with a very green ray pattern around the creamy white beard. Fine form; good haft width. Well defined markings. Riverdale Iris Gardens.
