1969, Brown

'Bright Idea' (Alta Brown, R. 1968). Seedling #D 603-1. MDB, height 8" (20 cm). Early bloom. Standards chrome yellow (Wilson 605); falls cadmium orange (8), narrowly bordered chrome yellow; light blue beards. 'Veri-Gay' X 'Lilli-Var'. Brown's Iris Gardens 1969. Honorable Mention 1970.
