For the best seedling seen at a National Convention. The Cup is presented by Region 4 in honor of two of its distinguished members, Lloyd Zurbrigg hybridizer of reblooming Irises, and Clarence Mahan hybridizer and past president of AIS. It was first awarded in 2014 at the Dallas Convention and although slightly smaller than other convention cups it is a keeper, with a new cup being donated each year.
