MRS. GILLIAM’S UNCLE DIES AT INDEPENDENCE - John H. Grinter, uncle of Mrs. Forrest Gillam, Marysville, died this morning at his home in Independence after a long illness. Mr. Grinter was a noted hybridizer of iris and also was a well-known historian. He is survived by his widow. Mrs. Sally Cave Grinter, of the home. Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Gillam went to Independence this morning and will be there for several days. Funeral rites probably will be held Monday.
