Hybridizer Mary Louise Dunderman (1916 - 1995)

Akron, Ohio, USA

Mary Dunderman was honored with the American Iris Society Hybridizer Award in 1993. Ms. Dunderman worked mostly with Minature Tall Bearded and won the Williamson-White Medal in 1994 for 'Rosemary's Dream; the highest award for that class of Iris. Prior to the Williamson-White Medal being established, she won the Award of Merit equalivant Williamson-White Award five times; 'Carolyn Rose' in 1974, 'Panda' in 1980, 'Doll Ribbons' in 1982, 'Chickee' in 1984, and 'Crystal Ruffles' in 1991.
