'Wings Aloft' ( M. D. Faith, R. 2010) Seedling S253F. LA, 36-42" (91-107 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards white, lightly ruffled tips; style arms white, ruffled tips; Falls white, ruffled, muted gold line signal; flat recurved form. 96-12O, unknown, X unknown. Iris Nut 2010
Hybridizer's Comment: Sturdy well proportioned stalks, strikingly fresh crisp near-white flowers, 4 or more bud positions (in 2009 I counted 10 total buds on one stalk, wih 3 to 4 buds per position), 36 to 42 inches in height; Slightly ruffled up-right standards and ruffled flat recured falls; Ruffled style arms tips of the same color; Muted gold line signals.
