'Sam W' ( M. D. Faith, R. 2005) Seedling # S 138 N-1-1942; LA, 36-40" (91-102 cm), Early midseason bloom. Standards wisteria blue (RHS 92A), lighter toward tips and edges, reverse very light blue-white; style arms greenish blue along midrib; Falls wisteria blue (92A), some slightly darker veining, light blue-white wire rim, reverse light blue-white; signal greenish yellow-gold; very ruffled. Henry Rowlan seedling X G96 120 (pink). Faith 2005.

Hybridizer's Comment: wisteria blue standards that are lighter towards tips and edges; style arms are greenish blue along midribs; wisteria blue falls with some darker blue veining and a light blue wire rim; backside of flower parts are a light blue near white; greenish yellow-gold signal.(G-96-141, an unknown Henry Rowlan Sdlg) X (G-96-120, a pink seedling)
