'Royal Velour' ( Sidney Conger, R. 1953). Louisiana, 30-36", Midseason bloom. Color Class-RV3, Standards deep red violet (M & P 40-10-L); Falls same to black-purple (M & P 48-L-i0). 'Roses And Wine' X 'Peggy Mac'. Conger 1954. Honorable Mention 1956.
