1986, Chowning

'Melon Party' (Frank Chowning, R. 1978). Seedling FG4. LA, 30" (76 cm), Midseason bloom. Orange (RHS 34C) self; dull gold signal; melon sepals. Henna seedcling: (copper-colored I. foliosa hybrid x 'W. B. MacMillan') X 'W. B. MacMillan'. Rowlan Irises 1986.
