'Love's Desire' ( Claude Davis, R. 1962). Seedling 58-16. LA, 28" (71 cm), Early midseason bloom. Color Class-V3, Standards pastel mauve; Falls same, light purple veining, light yellow line crest. 'Louisiana Delight' X 'Carol Judice'. University Hills 1962.

From University Hills Nursery catalog, 1962: LOVE'S DESIRE! (Davis, Reg. 1962)- a 5-1/2" soft pink polychrome classed as Pastel Mauve (H.C.C. 433) with a deeper color toward the midrib and with light purple veining. Crest marking of light yellow lines. Standards erect and falls held horizontally and gracefully twisted. A beautiful flower on a 28" plant which is highly resistant to rust. $5.00.
