From AIS Bulletin #269 April 1988 Introducing KAY NELSON--(Granger R-86) (Sdlg. 80-11) 32", Mid-season, 5" to 6" blooms. Great solid, ruffled grape lavender that is classically ruffled. Wide rounded 2-1/2" petals carry a rounded yellow crest. Standards are also rounded, 1-1/4" wide both have a fine light edging that's pinked or serrated. This is a charming beauty, with lavender styles, and three to four bud positions. Named for the lovely Registrar of AIS. $25.00. Albert Faggard. |
