'Homahoula' (W. B. MacMillan, R. 1943) LA. Color Class-R7D. Choctaw meaning "Beloved Red'. Collected from bog near Abbeville, LA. 1937 by MacMillan. Recorded as Vinie in 49 Checklist; Class renamed Louisiana Iris.
