Standards currant red (RHS 46B); style arms same as Standards, serrated lips; Falls slightly darker currant red, bold gold steeple signals; ruffled, flat form. 'News Brief' X 'Ann Chowning'. Iris Nut 2010.

Hybridizer's comment: >Sturdy stalks of 32 to 34 inches, flowers are flat ruffled overlaping in form , standards are curant red (RHS 46B), falls are currant red self (RHS 46B) with brilliant gold signal, style arms are the same color with ruffled or serated tips.
