'Great White Hope' (Dorman Haymon, R. 1999). Seedling 28-92-1. LA, 51" (130 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards dark blue violet; style arms near black, edged cream; Falls very dark purplish violet; ruffled, flared. 'Jeri' X 'Easter Tide'. Deep South, 2000. Honorable Mention 2003; Award of Merit 2006; DeBaillon Medal 2008.
