'Fuscaurea' (
John Kunkel Small, R. 1931, S. Louisiana). Vinic; Color Class-S4L. Rose colored flowers; standards cuneate-spathulate, shorter than falls, claw lined brown-lilac edged orange, blade apricot and brown lilac. Falls 7-8 cm. long, spreading, firm - the claw flushed apricot, veined orange-brown and yellowish-green midrib, blade brown-lilac above, apricot below, crest bright yellow edged brownish lilac. Style branches reddish-brown, wings yellow; Bot. Int. Irid. Pl, Gulf States 340 N.Y. 1931. [Collected Louisiana Iris].
