From Sidney Conger Louisiana Iris catalog, 1951: CAJUN JOYEUSE (Thomas). The general effect of this iris is rose-pink with the sepals a deeper shade than the petals. For consistancy of good bloom, and showiness of the clump, it is hard to beat. An excellent parent for hybridizing. $.50. |
From Walter Marx Gardens catalog 1955: CAJAN JOYEUSE. Each 1.00. Large rose red with the faintest coppery suffusion. A rampant grower and blooms profusely for weeks. About 2-1/2 feet in height. |
