1931, Alexander

'Albilinea'. ( Edward Johnston Alexander, R. 1931, Louisiana). Vinic.; Standards similar to Falls, the claw creamy-white, channeled in upper part brownish-lilac; Falls recurved spreading; the claw greenish-cream veined yellowish-green, the blade pale violet-purple, the tips heavily streaked and blotched creamy lavender with a deep yellow crest with central black-purple stripe. Externally dull reddish-violet suffused yellowish-cream. Style branches pale dull lilac, yellowish-green and greenish-white, wings whitish flushed red-violet. Originally described as a species, Iris albilinea but now considered a collected Louisiana Iris.
