'Yamataikoku' (Mototeru Kamo by Society for Japanese Irises, R. 1993) JI (3 Falls), 42" (107 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards deep red violet; style arms dark violet, feathered; Falls deep red violet, very large and overlapped, lighter crinkled edge, signal yellow with prominent yellow ridge line. Parentage unknown. Kamo 1979.
