From Sunnybrook Farm Iris Garden 1917: FIREFLY, (Uji-No-Hotaiu) — The latest to bloom, a very deep purple with golden blotch at throat, a tall and imposing flower. .50c.
From Farr's catalog, 1918: UJI-NO-HOTARU. Dark violet-purple, shaded with blue; very late; six petals. 25¢.
