From Marx Gardens catalog, 1955: STORM AT SEA (Marx 1954) Each $5.00 Huge, impressive Otomene seedling. Double 10 inch flowers of bright lavender shading to plum purple on the outer portion. Deeper veining radiates from a purple center. Large yellow signals extend prominently out on the falls. Dark purple styles. Four foot stems bear many magnificent blooms after Otomene is past. Quite similar in color to its parent and will appeal to those who prefer the double type.
