References:
From Marx Gardens catalog, 1955: STIPPLED RIPPLES $7.50 A dainty frilly affair with lots of personality. Though not large the saucy flare and extremely frilled edge distinguish the flower from all others. Color, much like its parent, Kuruma-dome, is white with the narrowest red border. We are very fond of this enchanting iris and believe it will win great popularity. Blooms rather late in the season on 3 to 3½ foot stems. |
From Tempo Two AU catalog, 1974: STIPPLED RIPPLES (Marx '59 USA) Double. E-M. Heavily substanced pure white ruffled blooms with 1/8" band of magenta around each petal. Small gold signals-white style arms. 36".Limited stock. $3.50. |
