From Marx Gardens catalog, 1958: SILKEN PARASOL (Marx 1956) Each $7.50. We rank this superb new iris as one of the very finest Marhigos we have developed, and our best and largest medium blue double. A most beautiful shade of silvery blue with delicate violet shadings on the margins. Full bodied flowers up to 9 inches across are produced in greatest profusion from the beginning to the end of the season. About 3½ feet.
