■(JI) 'Shiro-Nihonkai'

1993, Hirao

'Shiro-Nihonkai' (Shuichi Hirao by Society for Japanese Irises, R. 1993) JI (6 Falls), 33" (85 cm), Midseason bloom. White ground tinted lavender with variable violet (RHS 87A) splashes and iridescent sparkle overall; style arms white with blue violet midrib. Parentage unknown. Hirao prior to 1985.
