From Marx Gardens catalog, 1958: SEA TITAN (Marx 1957) Each $7.50. You seem to be plumbing the vastness of all blue when you gaze into this enormous double flower. A light (near Veronica) blue emanates from around the golden signals and gradually merges into a very light purple getting more solid toward the petal edges (near Damson). The same light blue to light violet tones are repeated in the erect styles. The light to moderately ruffled petals hold up beautifully due to good substance and display the 1O-inch bloom to greatest advantage. Various stems grow 4 feet with occasional one-way branching.
