'Sapphire Star' ( Walter Marx by A. Rogers, R. 1983) Seedling WM L33. JI (3 F. diploid), 48" (122 cm), Midseason bloom. Diamond dusted pale lavender, faint white penciling and white halo around gold signal; three lower styles lavender, tipped white; three upper styles dark lavender. Unknown parentage. Caprice Farm Nursery 1983. Honorable Mention 1987.
