'Purple Marlin' ( Jill Copeland, R. 1983) Sdlg. 79-012. JI (6 F. diploid), 31.5" (80 cm), Midseason to late bloom. Heavily ruffled violet (RHS 83A/77A); blue violet (89D) styles with darker edge and tip. 'Star At Midnight' X Marx 164. Copeland Iris 1984. Honorable Mention 1986.
