From Flowerfield catalog, 1939: Large vinous mauve flushed and veined white, center of petals banded with mauve. Remarkable and rare. Specially priced at $1.25.
From Marx Gardens catalog, 1955: NISHIKI-YAMA (Brocade Mountian) Each $1.00. White with wide fox glove red border. Ruffled double flowers something like the Higo variety MIYUKI-GURUMA but of lesser size.
