From Marx Gardens catalog, 1955: MARGARET S. HENDRICKSON Each $1.50. Regarded by many as the finest medium blue double. The large flowers are heavily ruffled with many accessory petaloids in the centers. Every collection should include this fine iris.
From Flowerfield Bulb Farms catalog 1956: MARGARET HENDRICKSON (Childs). Medium blue-violet, almost French-blue. A triple flower with falls and standards waved and ruffled.
