'Hinode-Dzura' ( Walter Marx, R. 1950) Import. JI. Translation: Crane At Sunrise. Import renamed by Marx. Originator: Sakata Nursery, 1915 as 'Hinodedzuru', Single, Color Class-5.

Note: 1939 AIS Check List shows 'Hinodedzuru' with 'Hinode Zuru' as synonym.

From Marx Gardens catalog, 1955: HINODE-DZURU (Crane at Sunrise) Each $3.00. We consider this about the finest of the red singles. The giant drooping flowers are deep crimson with white centers and narrow white veins extending almost to the margins. Pure white styles tipped reddish purple.
