From Marx Gardens catalog, 1962: HEATHER RED (Marx 1959) Each 5.00. This fine reddish purple was selected not only for its nice ruffled form and excellent substance but also for its late flowering season. After the other red varieties are about past this richly hued beauty takes the stage. A perfect companion for Blue Gentian as both bloom together and are about the same height, 30 inches.
