■(JI) 'Geishoui'

1846, Shōō

'Geishoui' (Matsudaira Shōō by Chad Harris, R. 2021). JI (9 F.), 42" (107 cm), Late bloom. Style arms white edged mid red-violet, multiple, crests white, edged mid red-violet; falls mid red-violet (RHS 77A-77B), large white central blaze with rays, gold signal spiking into the petal with a sunburst pattern, slight green cast in throat; Edo style, flared form. Parentage unknown. Japan, 1846.
