From Marx Gardens catalog, 1962: FALLING STAR Each $7.50 Similar to but even lovelier than the old Higo variety Fuji-Gasumi. Purest white with just a touch of the blue sky in the central portion of the flowers. Of large opulent proportions, this iris has won the admiration of all who have seen it in our garden. Blooms averaging 9 inches in diameter come early on branched 3-1/2 to 4-foot stems. Truly a beautiful Marhigo either in the garden or on the show table. |
