From Aitken’s Salmon Creek Garden, 1992: ELECTRIC GLOW (Aitken '92) JI, M-L, 38", 2 buds, 6 Falls. Following on the theme of ELECTRIC RAYS, this plant adds a sanded overlay of blue to the electric blue rays, blending to solid violet at the ruffled rims. At dusk the flowers seem to develop a mysterious blue luminescence, a characteristic we have not noted in other types of iris. (Electric Rays x Midnight Stars) #86J3 $30.00 |
