1983, McEwen

'Blueberry Rimmed' (Currier McEwen, R. 1983) Seedling T3 78/12B. JI (tetraploid), 30" (76 cm), Early midseason to late midseason bloom. Standards white, narrowly edged violet (RHS 88A); white styles tipped pale violet (88D); falls white, 1" violet (88A) edge, yellow signal; ruffled. 'Raspberry Rimmed' X seedling T1 74/36: (seedling 72/11(10) x seedling 72/40(34), Hirao mixed seeds). Seaways Gardens 1983. Honorable Mention 1985; Payne Award 1989.
