| From Marx Gardens catalog, 1955: BLUE POMPON $10.00 Our first introduction with a unique pompon center made up of many additional styles. Color is uniform deep blue, a shade lighter than Hisakata one of its parents. The large 8-inch ruffled flowers come late in the season on 3 to 3½ foot stems. We believe every connoisseur of Japanese Iris has a treat in store in this exciting novelty. Few plants to spare this year. |
