Genus Alophia
Alophia Herb., Bot. Mag. 66: t. 3779 (1840). - "Alophia; Herbert. Perianthium dispar ut in Cypellé; stylus triqueter superne sensim incrassatus; stigma trilobum lobis bifidis subulatis recurvis; filamenta brevia erecta (ipse non vidi), anthere (stigmatis lobis opposite ?) basi affix loculis latera versiis dehiscentibus connectivo media parte angustiore summa latiore; folia plicata. Nomen ab ¢ non et rAoQoc crista."
