A cute little bi-tone bloom. In sunshine it glows toasted peach, in shade the effect is more cocoa pink. Standards are pale pink with edges infused pale old gold. Falls are old gold washed ashes of roses and veined deeper around the beard. Beard is white changing to tangerine as it heads into the throat. The entire bloom is heavily diamond dusted and sparkles in the sunshine. Its old-fashioned form will not win any awards on the show bench, but it will win your admiration in the garden. Stalks have two branches and terminal with a typical count of four buds and rise sequentially giving a long season of bloom. It starts with the SDBs and continues well into the early TB season. In 2020 it bloomed for 3 full weeks. It resents disturbance and will not bloom the year after division; however, it can easily go 4-5 years between divisions, making ever more beautiful bouquets in the garden each year.
