'Plum Twizzler' (
Opal Wulf, R. 1998). Seedling #46-92-1. IB, 18" (46 cm), Late midseason bloom. Standards campanula violet (RHS 82C), darker midrib and base; style arms campanula violet; falls purple (79B) rimmed campanula violet, darker purple blaze, white ray pattern beside beard; beards light old gold; ruffled; flowers often with extra parts, up to six falls, four to five standards and style arms.

Flared falls are rich red-plum color with a luscious 'Damson' blue blaze at center below the white rays. Will have up to 6 falls and stands giving a 'pinwheel' effect. $12.00. Wulf's Backachers. |
