From Bonnewitz catalog, 1923/24: LADY LILFORD (Foster) $5.00. This is one of the varieties I have been trying for three years to grow but without much success. I will be able to spare a very few roots of it this year, but I believe it should be grown under glass.
From Carl Salbach catalog 1931:Lady Lilford (Foster). Very distinct flower of deep violet purple. Needs no special culture in California. 30 in.50c; 3 for $1.00.
