1989, Aitken

'Hot Spice' (J. Terry Aitken, R. 1989). Seedling #83M12. IB, 25" (51 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards chocolate brown; falls bright yellow, stitched dark chocolate on edge, white flash at end of ocher gold beard. 'Pepper Mill' X 'Flamenco'. Aitken's Salmon Creek Garden 1989. Honorable Mention 1991; Award of Merit 1993; Sass Medal 1997.
