From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2007: FORGED IN FIRE - IB, 25" (63 cm), Midseason. Deep from the heart of the furnace emerges this glowing creation. Medium beetroot standards have a network of darker veins. Styles are rosy beetroot. Dark, velvety wine-red falls lighten toward edges and are set off with white darts at the ends of bright orange beards. Wide, classically formed flowers are ruffled and lightly laced. Growth is strong and it produces many stalks per clump. Sdlg. L197A: Folk Art X Ocelot. Photo inside back cover. $22.50. |
